Meet our Principal
Amy Williams has been in the Caddo Parish School System since 2003. She began teaching 5th Grade Math at North Highlands Elementary School where she eventually taught 3rd Grade self contained. After ten years at North Highlands, Amy found her home at Fairfield. She loves Fairfield and will be joined by her son, John Mayton, this year as he begins kindergarten.
Amy attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. Amy and her husband, Daniel, both graduated from Louisiana Tech. They love visiting Ruston for football games, baseball games, and just about any other reason. Ruston holds a special place in her heart as this is where she met many lifelong friends.
Amy's goal is to work with other schools in the district to ensure all students are successful. She believes that focusing on student achievement, school pride, and community involvement are key in creating high performing schools. Furthermore, she understands that partnerships with parents and the community are essential in creating an enriching experience for students.
Amy's husband is also an educator. He teaches at Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College in Minden in their instrumentation department. Education is very important to the Williams family. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with friends and family and supporting the families of Fairfield.
